Title: Installing MDI Kit - But have error 03138

The MDI shows up on my RNS510, and controls my iPhone and even charges it, but \i have no sound coming from it. The Radio get radio and plays that fine, playing music via bluetooth is also fine.

I have Vag Com it and this is what I get

03138 - Input AUX IN
03138 - Input AUX IN: Open or Short to Ground

Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Auxiliary Input (Audio Jack/TRS Connector) faulty
Auxiliary Input (Audio Jack/TRS Connector) faulty
Possible Solutions
Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Auxiliary Input (Audio Jack/TRS Connector)
Check/Replace Auxiliary Input (Audio Jack/TRS Connector)

Anyone care to explain in plan english ?

Double check them, which MDI kit have you fitted (armrest or glovebox)

or add Aux-in (not on the RNS as suggested by the earlier post but to the MDI plug
