Does anyone know or have a guide to doing this. I have scanned the forum but cant find anything.  :sad1:

i couldnt do without my rear wiper! how else would i see all the ed30s in my wake when i storm past?!

Smoke?! what smoke?! my car was cleaner than all of yours at the rolling road day! haha! ;)

My diesel particle filter takes care of a clean exhaust! ;)

Ok my blank has arrived i'm going in  :chicken:  looks like the rain may hold off.  :party:

I hope my usual tool kit of adjustable spanner and pliers will suffice.  :evilgrin:
And scarily i might have to ring JoesGTI for advice if i get stuck.  :scared:

its a 10 min job, just pull the rear trim off hard and remove the wiper from the inside, honestly 10-15 min job,  :happy2:

look way better aswell!  :pomppomp:

Jobs a fish its really easy to do like Joe says. The only tricky bit is getting the wiper arm of the spline. In the end i just got some mole grips on it and shut my eyes.  :star:

It makes the back of the car look so much better i was quite surprised.
And before the PC brigade start  :indifferent:
I do low miles but regular washing so i have only used it once, and i am sure i wont miss it.
Also VW gifted me two other  mirrors to use if by a freak of nature i decide to not love my car anymore and dont wash it.  :P

Sorry to bring up an old thread - but does anyone know where I could get the blanking cap from now? The venom link doesnt seem to be functional anymore.

According to all the guides I have read - yep it seems to be a 15/20minute job to remove and the same to refit!

i got mine from the lads at CTH tuning. was sent same day as i ordered and they were realy helpful, cheaper than venom too. the look awesome too, this is a pics of one of the lads who owns cth

Forgive the question but what do you do with the washer hose? Can't find any where what to do with it.

stick a bung in it. all you need to do is block it off  :happy2:
