showroom tax, i think they call it... i'd hope the dealer would cover that considering the purchase cost.

this is for pre 2008 reg cars...
After 2008 is CO2 based and new 135i is something like 445 euros but older cars with huge engines will still be pricy.
I pay 400 euros insurance for gti so seems reasonable compared to UK market

Nearly fell off my chair seeing those figures on the tax disc..anyway if u can afford the car then it shouldn't be a problem

Yeah my S4 is over €1800 to tax for the year, or €500 every 3 months, we also don't have a SORN system like ye do either.

UK Rates will go up 1st April (New Reg inc Showroom Tax will take that £1030 up to £1065) Dealer paid £1030 for 1st Year on My GT-R renewal time it's only £480 now (Bargain)
