hi all
I posted on here early January about a 1.6fsi and a 1.9tdi
A lad near me is selling his mk5 1.9tdi in the next few weeks for £4000
I've asked him about it and he said
'Just had a years mot on it advisories on 2 front tyres loads on tax. Serviced it a few months ago, and done 142,000'
was wondering if its worth the money or not
also lowered on coils and different wheels
thanks
Chaddy

What year is it? Either way it is a lot of money for the mileage.
With it being a 1.9 there is a chance of it being fairly low specced too.
Is there an ad you can link to?

You want to find out about service history more than anything - it should definitely have had at least one timing belt kit done, if still on the original turbo and clutch/dual mass flywheel then they'll be needing done soonish.
This mileage is not too bad if the car had regular services, bit with it also being dropped on its arse the chassis could be really tired too.
