Title: Pics requests pls . Mk5 with RS3 alloys pls
Post by: woodzrs on March 28, 2013, 05:55:41 pm: Anyone got a pic of mk5 gti with them rs3 wheels on ? The ones that are like 5 spokes in black with silver tips ? I've got a black 5dr and wondered what they're look like?

Think Nige at BCS had 18's on his black mk5. Might be some pics around here.

Car still drive nice or tramlines etc ? I love the car at moment and don't want to do something that would change it but the 19s look the bees knees

Is that front end a different colour or is it my eyes ?

I went from 18's up to 19's and was worried beforehand about how the ride comfort would be (as I have a spinal injury) but I didn't notice any difference in the ride whatsoever, it was no less comfortable than on the previous 18's. My car has a 25mm drop on H&R springs as well, and was expecting things to be harsher rolling on 19's, but thankfully that wasn't the case. The Audi rotors look especially sweet in their 19" guise. :smiley:

But if people are saying its no different then looks like I'm getting my bank card out :-)

Think its the shadow that makes it look darker.

i absolutely detested seeing golfs with these wheels on..............until now.

What size tyres do you need for 19's on a mk5?

That, unfortunately, is not my car mate. I do, however, have the same wheels waiting to go on my steel grey 5 door once I have sorted out a few other bits. :wink:
