Hi.
My parents (both in 70s) have finally decided that a sat nav might help them find their way around! It would need to connect to a Mac for updates (preferably free) and be easy to operate.
I'm guessing Garmin and TomTom - do both makes work OK with Macs?
Any suggestions or good deals that you know of?
Cheers.

I personally think that tom-toms are easier to use than garmins :happy2:
-
Not too sure if they work with Macs but TomTom are definitely the more user friendly!
-
Another vote here for tomtom

TomTom.... easier to use (as mentioned above) and they work 100% with macs... the TomTom Home software works perfectly! :happy2:
-
Sounds like the votes are for TomTom then! Thanks for the replies so far.

Another vote for Tom-Tom I have the XL version and think it's great - V easy to use
-
Tom Tom's all the way :happy2:
-
Sounds like you are all sponsored by TomTom!

(other sat navs are available)
:signLOL:

Tom Tom. Great bit of kit. :happy2:

Another vote for Tom Tom. Had one in the work's van for years. I found it very intuitive to use out of the box compared to a Garmin I had a go with which wasn't!

And I got a great Tom Tom in the for sale section on this forum for around £30 delivered - very basic, but for the UK you don't need anything more.
Idiot proof especially for the older generation :happy2:

Tomtom ONE is ready basic and all I use. Recommended
