Hi all,
Just got a 2005 MKV GTI this morning, great machine so far!
Anyway, minor annoyance, the key fob only opens the drivers side door. Even pressing the unlock button twice doesn't open the passenger door, you have to get into the car and press the unlock button then it unlocks no problem. Locks both doors on the fob no problem at all.
Reading through the manual, I suspect 'Individual Unlocking' may have been activated at some point. This sound about right? Any way I can un-program this without paying someone to do it?
Thanks in advance and apologies if it's a common question.
Thanks,
Mark.

If you have the advanced Multi Function Display (MFD) on the dash (Full height) there should be a menu option "Convenience > Door Open > Unselect Single Door".
A point to note: If you have to double press the button to unlock the other doors; this has to be done very quickly!
Otherwise you might have to get it re-coded via VAG-COM.
I take it that it was a private sale. If it was a dealer, take it back and get them to sort it.

On my car if I press it too quickly it doesn't register the second click so I click a second time once I have heard the first unlock, so a short pause basically
