Title: Rough idea of price needed please :)
Post by: Veee-dubber on April 01, 2013, 07:00:10 pm
Need to replace my thrust/release bearing as its making horrific noises.... anyone had to do this before?

What is it likely to set me back and should I look at replacing the clutch & DM whilst it's all out?

Many thanks :)

would be crazy not to stick a 2 piece clutch in there while its open plus make sure dmf hasnt got more than than 30 mm(iirc) of free movement in either direction.. :happy2:

Some of the new DMF have that much play in them.

I would also agree, whilst paying for labour it would be worth replacing the lot.
