Title: New owner of a tornado red ED30
Post by: magicgilbert on April 01, 2013, 07:31:40 pm
Took a 280mile around trip to see a ED30 today, looked fantastic and well looked after, unfortunatly being a bank holiday the payment transfer doesn't go through till tomorrow so train trip tomorrow to pick her up. well chuffed and carnt wait to get it home on the drive.
only thing missing was the sat nav, so after a RNS510 with the latest version, anyone know the best place for me to purchase one and is it just a case of plug and play, also as the multi function steering wheel, will that work?

cheers

Danny

The steering wheel should work providing the coding is correct in VAGCOM.

RNS510 are not cheap though, may be better with an aftermarket unit.
Better value for money.

If its manual then you need to purchase additional parts to make it work - MFSW.

If its DSG then simply change the buttons.

YOur RNS510 is plug and play, but will have to check for battery drain, dependent on what Can gateway you have.
