Title: Centre air vent parts

Anybody know where I can get the plastic slats that hold the air vent blades in place ?

Assuming you mean the bit in the middle with the silver strip?

I also need a couple of these but they aren't order-able separately according to my dealers parts desk. £55+VAT for each new air vent the only option they could see!

Sounds to me like you will need a new vent.

Post up a pic to show is what you mean  :happy2:- I have 3 or four slats hanging around, one with the tab mover

I may have a couple when i broke mine but not sure if i chucked them. Will check tomorrow.

so have you lost yours?
would'nt of thought they would break, where as the vents have stupidly small lugs they rotate on.

Yes I was replacing the stereo and the vents came out and I think it fell down the back :s

Well mine did exactly that, the rh side litterally exploded into bits all over the place. The top & bottom slats are a different shape on the ends, which gives more clearance when the vents are fully opened, took me a while to suss that 1 out. Would have been easier if they were numbered. Took me 2hours to get it all assembled and working again    :fighting:

Just had alook I've got 3 fins that are black and the one thats got the chrome strip, so I've misplaced one  :sad1:
