Title: Golf Mk4 Steering Wheel.
Post by: xjay1337 on April 05, 2013, 04:25:29 pm
Hi,
I was wondering what would be involved in getting a Mk4 steering wheel working in a Mk5.
Have tried searching but unfortunately I only find things Mk4 to Mk5, not the other way around. I'm mainly interested in getting the airbag to work.

As people can get the Mk5 Airbags and steering wheels into a Mk4, it seems to reason that you can get a Mk4 wheel into a Mk5.. could someone knowledgeable please assist? Perhaps Eddie or someone similar may know..

Cheers

Haha, ok Eddie. Might need your help with this one. I've seen some really very nice Mk4 aftermarket steering wheels, which are around the same price as a Mk5 GTI one.. they look very similar, and take a standard GTI Mk4 Airbag (pennies on Ebay).
