Hi, recently got a 1.4 mk5 golf for my first car and was wanting to know of any simple mods i can do to the car to make it any nicer looking or have any better performance

There not much you can do to make it faster

so make it nicer

what year is it?
is it the 1.4 or the 1.4FSi

Cruise Control
Highline (if interested I have an older cluster going cheap, can also fit)
Newer radio like RCD310, RCD510
leather Steering wheel or Mf wheel

have a look through the members rides section and im sure you will get plenty of ideas.

as for performance there isnt much you can do with the 1.4. If you really wanted to you could fit an induction kit to make it sound faster and you may get a few bhp but not alot.
