Title: Deciding what tail lights to get
Post by: jack_maxwell on April 06, 2013, 11:55:49 am: Wantnig to get new tail lights for my blue mk5 golf. These are my choices:

There's always the option of the 30 edition lights

Ye the first i wasnt too sure about, i saw them on a golf on this site ( http://www.vwgolf.net.au/showthread.php?12036-Mk5-golf-GTI-led-tail-lights-opinions-please ) and thought they looked pretty good. I like the style of the white circles on the other ones, would like to have a set with no red colour at all if that's possible

The first ones are "copies" (not sure of thier quality) of the OEM European Valeo LED clusters. The Valeo units pop up on here a fair bit and usually sell (second hand) for around £200. New Valeo LED's sell for around £300+ IIRC.

As mentioned, the ED30/R32 units are an option, their darker (more Red, less Pink) and look good.

Those Valeo LED ones look fine on red but not a fan on Blue. :P
