whats the difference between the genuine gti grills and the non genuine?

As with anything, you might just have a few slight issues with alignment... normally they are OK though.

iv got a oem gti front bumper and i cant make my mind up whether to save a bit of money and go for the cheaper grills :s

I have a mix of OEM and non-gen, the fit on the non-gen is not perfect but as they are only fog light covers you would never know.

I have non OEM open fog grilles and you would never know! They are perfect  :happy2:

All my grilles are non-oem and fit well!
