Title: rust repair

Hi.

I've got a spot of rust on the in side of my door sill, i'd say its nearly 10millimeters wide i did brush some touch up paint over the rust spot which you can see the black on the rust but i realised this wasn't the best thing to do.
 
What i want to know is this covered under the VW rust warrenty Ive had a flick though the rust warrenty thread but would the best thing to do to go staight the VW?

Since you have tried to fix it previously any claim would be immediately void.
I doubt it would be covered, your best bet would be to repair it properly either yourself or have a bodyshop do it. It wouldn't cost much I imagine due to it's location.

I wouldn't say a brush of paint over it would be fixing it maybe just hide it  :signLOL:

I probably won't go to VW then I'll just pay and get it sorted myself don't really need that was hoping for a cheeky remap.

I may just keep it clean for now and remap it  :driver: :grin:

That could really do with sorting before it gets worse due to its location I cant imagine it breaking the bank.

Yeh I'll pop up to the vw painters when I get chance may have to wait till the weekend though.
