welcome Callum,
you need to have a certain amount of posts to reply in the for sale section.
Stick around, tell us more about you and your car. Get your post count up.
-

That's because you've not read the "Site Guidelines" in the New Members Intro.

hi
welcome along :happy2:

I did have a quick look  i read that it said you can't post a for sale advert without 25 posts so i thought posting a reply would be different, thought i just had a broke account haha!
-
21 More to goooooo
Do you think the moderators would have a problem if i posted 20 posts one after eachother?
-
^^^^ what do you think?? plus you'll p*ss off all the other members for spamming threads.
Oh and if you read the "rules", its 10 to post in the For Sale section, 25 to post your own "For Sale" thread.

Don't mean to be rude, but I wonder if new members should be sent a PM with acknowledgement:
New Members Read This:
> You need 10 posts to PM or reply in the For Sale section.
> No Boost!? Replace your DV (Rev G) or PCV (Rev C)
> Rust>? VW compo thread.
> If you haven't already; Check / Change your Cam Follower (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,63787.0.html).
Or words to that effect... Just seems we get an awful lot of the same thing repeated.

It's a problem everywhere. It should be taught in school IT classes how to use the search button on forums :D
