Title: Knocking noise?!

Getting a really odd knocking noise when reversing my car out the drive when I turn the wheel fully, only seems to happen when the car is cold?? Any ideas?!

Cv? Check the boots aren't spilt.

Had cv boot repaired few months ago so doubt its that doesn't happen when in motion on the road just when im reversing out and full locking the wheel, btw the car is lowered not by myself previous owner did that

Were the cv joints checked when the boots were replaced?

Does sound like its a cv joint that's gone with the description especially if the boots have been changed as dirt could of got into them when the boots were split.

Im not sure if they were, will have to get in touch with steve at statllers and get him to have a look! Hope its not the cv joint would it be expensive to repair?

Had a look at the top mounts? How loud is the knocking? Could it be the springs running against one another? Is the car low low...?

Not low low the wheel is just below the arch very minute gap between the wheel an arch maybe a few mm's?
