Well I'm happy to report that with this firmware the RNS510 Parktronic OPS emulation finally works.

Have you tried the Climatronic emulation? I misread your last post thinking that was what you meant so been out to try it. It doesn't log any faults now when its enabled but the only one to show on the RNS is for the heated rear screen.

I've only updated this afternoon with the car in the garage so haven't checked if Climatronic emulation actually works on a Golf.
afaik it only works in a Skoda but who knows...
