Title: Airbag cover

Replacing this - is it simple enough? anyone done this?

Also how can I remove the airbag and avoid the airbag light coming up on the dash after? As I don't have vcds

Disconnect the battery first. Then a flat head screw driver in the two holes on the back of the steering wheel twist and it pops off the airbag. Not sure on how to get the air bag off the cover tho.

To get the cover off is not an easy job

Take a picture before you do anything
Ground yourself before touching it

Remove the wiring loom
remove the 4x Nuts
lift the plate up
the cover has tabs that locate in the metal parts release them and pull on the cover
it will be tight, so may be a PITA
also it has some sharp edges

refitting is in reverse order
