Having recently bough my new Golf which is cunningly disguised as a BMW I have had some serious issues with cleaning the alloys up. The amount of burnt on brake dust was just ridiculous and having used a few methods and a few products they are better-ish but not prefect and the paint has gone really dull. I think its come to a point where the only realistic option is to have them refurbished.
Now i don't dislike the current anthracite finish as it matched the front chin spoilers and the rear diffuser. But I am always tempted by gloss black rims and I am considering doing that instead of the anthracite.
But which looks best?
Anthracite:

Black:

IMHO Anthracite looks best all day long but Black (Matt or Gloss) will hide that pesky dust. :happy2:
Oh and lovely BMW Golf!

Black looks pretty sweet

The gloss black would suit your front splitter :happy2:
