Title: Dump valve power

Would you lose significant power if dump was torn broken. I'm also experiencing a chattering when cold is this related thanks guys.

It's a diverter valve, not a dump valve (it recirculates the air)  :laugh:

The rubber diaphragm acts as an airtight seal so if it's torn you will lose power.

If you're cold I'd recommend a thermal vest. This shouldn't be a related issue. :happy2:

No, and NEVER strain, its bad for you! If your dump is broken, eat more fibre!  :happy2:

Phones vw n it's actually a cut off valve the dump valve is in your intercooler pipes so there  :P

Had dv fixed and cam follower. DVD was ripped to bits feels like an extra 100 horses well pleased :grin:  I bought the car with this at fault so never knew wat it should feel like.
