Title: RNS 510 security code?

I've been away in Canada for 6 weeks, missed all the miserable weather in UK whilst enjoying the rain and some sun here in Beautiful British Columbia.  Foolishly didn't ask anyone to regularly start the Golf and on my return next Wednesday I fear the car will be as dead as a dodo.  Will my RNS 510 need a code to restart it 'cos I don't think I have one - the unit was not factory fitted and was installed in the car when I bought it.
Any advice on where to find the code without removing the unit please.

Mine has never needed a code and I have removed the battery a few times. It had been retrofitted previously, so you should be good to go.

I'm sure you only need the code when putting it in a different car. So you should be fine :happy2:
