Just had a couple of reduced boost maps from superchips.
Each map reduced by 0.05 bar.
How much BHP would I roughly be getting with reducing the boost by this much?
SC unable to tell me. :P

I wouldn't have thought that reducing the boost by 0.05bar / 0.73psi would make too much difference.

thats what i thought, but didnt think they meant 0.5bar.
What should it be running standard?
cheers

0.5bar would be 7.3psi which would make it almost stock and not worth the money!!
I'm running peak 23psi on stage 2+. Stage 1 remap would be around peak 21psi and stock is (from memory) around 13-14psi, so knocking off 0.5bar is basically a stock map, which would be really strange!!

mines stage 1 APR and peaks 21 psi , dropping to 17 across range .....
sure they didnt mean 0.5 psi increments ???
is this to get round an issue?
if so it may be very small drops to get around triggering the failsafes...

im revo stage1 and at about 23peek psi, 20-21psi general
-
my KO3 runs 22psi and drops to about 15psi.

Presumably you guys have a turbo boost gauge fitted in your cars where you are getting the readings from.
Any recommendations for which gauge I should consider/avoid?

You can also get this info via VCDS.
