Title: RNS510 + Armrest Cd Changer swap for MDI Help.

Hello Everyone, this is my first post.

I hope someone can help me.

I have a 54 plate gold GTTDI that the previous owner has fitted an RNS510 headunit to.

I have bought an MDI so I can use my android phone in the armrest.

My issue is when im looking for looms to install as the cd changer and md idid not share the same connect every loom says it is not suitable for cars with a factory fitted cd changer.

Does anyone know if this is true and if so why? I thought it just added the MDI to the RNS 510 which is plug and play?

I have everything ready to fit except the loom and i dont want to buy the wrong one.

Any help would be great.

(im assuming the cd changer was factory fitted)
