How do lads?
Does anyone happen to know any information about the free trial?
Basically I want to know if the 5 hours is eithe:
- 5 hours with the engine running, say an hour and a hour there etc, or.
- 5 hours simply, say it's put on at 12 it'll simply revert back to standard at 5.
I can't find any statement on the website other than a 5 hour free trial.
Any help would be much appreciated.

im pretty sure after the times up, you'll have to go back and have your standard map reloaded after the trial. Im certain its 5 hours running time on the road. :happy2:

its 5 hours ignition on, then it reverts to Revo's version of the std map, if you wanted the VW std map you would need to get that put back on :happy2:

Ahh cheers for the info chaps, you've cleared a few things up for me there. I'll give it a blast when the weather clears up to get the most out of it.
Only problem with it is that I know if I give it a try I'll end up eating into the rocco r fund :scared:

Snapey,
I found the trial to be really good but not as good as when you buy the software. I felt on the trial the gear change on the DSG wasnt to great but when i bit the bullet and got the cash out for the full map if you want to call it that it was spot on.
Have used REVO on 4 cars now and never had a problem. you will love it

The story goes you don't get the full hit with the trial maps, just be aware if you have the trial map with 1 company, and then go and try another, let them know you have already had a trial by someone else, there has been issues if you don't.
