Title: Helios Advice
Post by: Johnny_tro on April 14, 2013, 11:13:49 pm
I think I will start saving for some VW Helios Alloys - unfortunately I can only do reps, now way I can afford the real stuff  :ashamed:

Was looking at these: http://autoalloys.com/Search%20Alloy%20Wheels%20By%20Vehicle/Volkswagen/Golf%20Mk5%20(04-08)/19%20helios%205x112

The info. say 19 -  5 x 112 - is this size a simple and straight forward bolt on? and maybe have a little drop in the future...........?

and also - WHY doo people change the camber of the rears so so much? is this just to fit larger wheels? or just look?

I do like this pic/height etc. - what I want to go for.....

Epic wheel I had mine on my mk5 then sold Rocco with them on, looked great with a drop.

There's little point mounting them to trick suspension as they weigh the same as a small house reps probably more so.

Uber rare 3-4 years ago remember being able to go to a show and NOBODY else having a set, probably wouldn't happen now but still look fantastic on a mk5.

Good choice plenty of used 235/35/19 rubber on the bay too

Not looking for fancy suspension, just nice sit. What drop do you think is on the pic above?

Dave - any pics? What drop did you have ?
