If you ask 10 plumbers/gas fitters... 5 will say val. and 5 will say Worc.
We went for a Worcester 30CDi.... I think they are much of a muchness really at this price.

After working with both for a few years I would have to say I prefer the Vaillant.

Valliant for me too....

I've got an 11 year old Worcester-Bosch.
It's broken once, and WB do/did a fixed price call out for £100 which includes up to 3 replacement parts. The engineer fitted the dodgy fan, asked me what other 2 bits I wanted... and I have a brand new PCB and something else that's name escapes me boxed up in the garage. :happy2:
As for what's best, I don't know, but WB's service for me has been outstanding.

I'm a commercial and domestic time served HTG ENG and its gotta be the worcester bosch for me-every time 16 years in the game,if you want a really good combi boiler without breaking the bank go for a 'remeha' avanta plus 28c -really good boiler for the money,5 year warranty also.
Main eco 25's and 30's are also good, top VFM also from these boilers
I've had nothing but bad experiences with valliants over the years, but that's just personal experience

just had a WB installed last month and so far so good

mmm cheers guys, must say that the wb service was good same as tony danza's comments.
still pilot light keeps going out and have to keep resetting it so gets annoying but it is about 20 yrs old in fairness

I swapped from a 15 yr old Worcester to a Vaillant 832 about two years ago. I also had the VRT 392f wireless digital roomstat / programmer. I think its probably a combination of the increased efficiency of the boiler and the roomstat constantly switching on and off thats contributed to much lower gas bills. Also , you can finely adjust the roomstat to get the exact temperature. Good stuff and glad I did it. One of my better decisions !
Having said that, I'm sure Worcester do a similar setup which will be as good if not better. You'll not go far wrong with either.
