0% over 3 years for all new VW's...in Ireland, not UK.
I wonder if I should get a Mk 7 GTI.......
-
Wow, great stuff.
-
Buy in Ireland and ship to UK?
-
Probably still need a 30% or maybe 50% deposit? I thought VWUK offered this too?
-
Only 10% minimum deposit. This is a very good offer...hmmm
-
Wouldn't you have to pay their astronomical "Road Tax" , which would eliminate any saving ??
-
It's called VRT-vehicle registration tax. If you don't register the car in Ireland you shouldn't have to pay it.
-
I noticed one of my vw dealers doing 0% on a few cars think one was a golf estate plus others I think

It's a great offer. But 10% down on a £30k GTI would leave you with 3 years of payments at £750 per month. Even at 0% I wouldn't want to be paying £750 a month to drive a GTI.

LOL! That's crazy money for a GTI!

For that finance wouldn't you need a NI postal address.

Who would put down 3k on a 30k car then ? Put down 15k and its more reasonable , but then again why pay 30k for a car thats virtually the same as a 15k car , just newer by 3 years ish ?? :innocent:

No idea, my comment was in response to only needing a 10% deposit, and previously Luke questioning whether you'd need a 30% or 50% deposit. A £15K deposit isn't exactly going to be achievable for a lot of people, so a lower deposit may attract some people.

I won't buy a mk7. My car is fully paid for and runs well, so it doesn't really make sense for me personally to spend a fortune for a new one.

I almost bought a new VW the other month but just couldnt bring myself to do it, felt like I was loosing money. Much rather get something a little older.
