Title: Quick question for the Northern Ireland members!
Post by: Meeky on April 17, 2013, 12:13:50 pm
Hey Guys,

Seen on the forum over the past few months some members getting Cam Follower, Diverter Valve and PCV Valve all replaced to make the car run better!

Seen a few quotes on here and the parts aren't overly expensive which is good to hear!  :happy2:

Would definitely get these done but could anyone from Northern Ireland recommend me someone who could do all these preferably County Down/Antrim area

The local stealers quoted me £1100

Cheers!  :drinking:

Chris

Jebus, glad i dont live there now, a good indie would charge you no more than £120.00 to replace all 3 items, and that's on a standard GTi!! If you have an Ed30, would be even cheaper!!  :popcornsoda:

You move away to somewhere hot Gigolo  :signLOL: or just England

Thats great! Decent price and yeah it's a standard GTi so not bad price was expecting £200+

Just need to know if anyone knows a good indie I could use near my area to help me get these sorted out

Yeap, am over in South Yorkshire now where the roads are sh*t!!  :fighting:

Don't know any idie's over there tbh, but give 'Sere motors' a call, think they are in Antrim, they are a dealer, but ask for Dave in Parts (SEAT) and he should be able to advise you where to go, or might even be able to give you a good dealer price to get them fitted with them!!??

They are the best around, sometimes easier if you get the parts, saves them time.

Have you any contacts to get parts...?

You will always meet like minded people down there too.

Servicing
Re-maps
replacing parts
rolling road

Yeah if it's not too much bother i'll take the prices also!

Just order these online through google search?

And I take it the guys in Autotune could get the parts but obviously easier and cheaper for me to source them myself aye?
