After fitting my rev d diverter valve a while back i could still hear a leak so i really tightened it up. Coming to fit my rev g valve now and one of the bloody bolts is rounded. Its the worst one to get to aswell. Does anyone have any genious ideas before i make it any worse trying? thanks

Seen this before, if you remove the other bolts and push the DV upwards at an angle it snaps the lug off the DV and you can remove the DV and grip the bolt with mole grips. Block the DV hole with some cloth to avoid anything going in when removing the stuck bolt.
Try all other options first before resorting to snapping it, but if its an old DV you are binning anyway its not a big problem.
If you have some torx bits try these as well as they often fit into a rounded off hex bolt.

good thinking, but isnt there a metal collar on the dv around where the allen bolt goes? or would this not effect it and i would still be able to remove it with ease?

any other ideas?
Would only like to use that as last resourt because its a new rev d valve thats covered about 2k miles, so im not even sure thats the problem im just eliminating things
