Select "new post" not "post new poll" then you will have a normal thread not a poll
-
Firstly, I think you need to remove the poll, as you have asked a question, not polling for a resuly.
Secondly, you need to scan your car with VCDS to see what the actual error code is.
Thirdly, can you tell us a little about the car, any damage or dirt on any of the sensors?
Fourthly, when you put it into reverse how many beeps do you get, a long one, a normal one or none at all??
-
Hi sorry new to all this. Right there is no beep when you put it into reverse only had the car 2 weeks but had all the panels out of the boot and its all there beeper and control box so it's factory fitted not an after market one. Is there any tests I can do to see if I have a feed to the control box ?

What did you use to scan the car, as those codes don't really mean anything. You need a VCDS scan to see exactly what the controller is giving as a fault.

I did it with snap on solus is there any tests I can do on the control module to see if I have a feed

It sounds like the controller is dead. Not sure how much a new one would be. As I said I would try VCDS through someone local to scan it. No signal from the controller sounds like it is dead!

have you checked the fuse (fuse 14, 10A)
if the fuse is ok
then the issue is with the wiring or the module
-
Where is the fuse is it in the car or under the bonnet checked all the ones in the car
-
The wiring or the module is faulty
fuse for pdc is inside the cabin
-
Ok thanks you can anyone tell me which wire at the control box should be live so I can test at the box
