Post by: webby888 on April 20, 2013, 05:39:56 pm
currently i have a stage one map and im itching to go stage 2 now  :happy2:

however iv read up alot of standard clutches slipping went the power hikes up so i was wondering how the clutch fairs on a manual gti with stage 2 software?

Depends how you drive and what condition your OEM clutch is currently in.

I'd definitely plan on an uprated clutch, get the map done and see what's what. If it starts to slip, put the car back on its stock settings and get the clutch done, happy days.

It's not a hp issue but a torque issue...

I had no probs with mine covered over 20k running Revo Stage 2
I think it all depends how the car has been looked aftet mine had 60k when i bought it
