Title: Off to a bad start!
Post by: Stitch26 on April 21, 2013, 02:27:37 pm
First off Hello!
Just stumbled across the forum. Own a Mk5 GTi which I've now covered 83k miles in.

I've just tried to change my cam follower but have managed to snap the plastic clip on the sensor on the left hand side of the pump as you look at it - think its the LP Thrust sensor. I've reattached it and it fits fine so have secured it with a few cable ties for now.

I know the sensor on the top means a new pump but does anyone know how easy/costly it'll be to sort the sensor on the left hand side out??

Thanks!!
