Hi Guys,
Well, after a few years of resisting the modding bug, I think you have all finally worn me down :booty:
Depending on what my current insurer will have to say, I may just bite the bullet and get a remap. From the feedback here, a long trip to R-Tech too!
I have an Ed30 DSG and was wondering if anyone could help me with the following questions...
1. Does the engine remap alter the way the standard DSG drives? i.e. kickdowns etc (I don't really want to map the DSG. I have new clutch packs installed under warranty)
2. Under normal sedate London commute driving (start stop/traffic/A-Road) how much is the MPG likely to alter?
3. R-Tech maps- Will they be lost if the battery is disconnected etc?
Cheers

Gear box will be same as before but apperntly the remap on the box makes it perform a lot better as u can alter it to suit your needs. Your mpg will more than likly go up if ur a carful driver.
