Hi everyone,
Just wondering if a fuel additive to clean injectors is worthwhile every once in a while and if so what to use - do VAG make anything suitable?
Thanx in advance

Interested if anyone has an opinion or experience with fuel additives?

hurdy is your man, he'll be aong shotly, he has before nad after dyno sheets as well

Can't offer much advice on additives but if you use your car on a relatively short commute the best thing you can do for it is take it for a good long drive with a bit of a thrash involved as well if you can. I periodically do a 300mile journey and it really clears the cobwebs. The car always feels much sharper and responsive afterwards ... until my 10 mile each way commute gunges it up again :sad1:

he's asking about cleaning the injectors rather than for performance gain.
can't remember if there was another thread about that tho.
but general consensus is that it won't help clean the valves due to direct fuel injection system.
but cleaning the injectors? well not sure they need cleaning really unless u use some rubbish 95 ron stuff from a crap garage!
