Title: what spark plugs ?

just had a coil pack go down on number 2 cyl and was thinking of putting new plugs in too as its done 25k any suggestions ? also is there any uprated coil packs i.e s3 etc or are the std gti ones ok ?

Std coil packs are ok.

The oem plugs are also your best bet if you're not remapped...

the car is mapped and has been for about 20k

In that case it's a toss up between the oem plugs or an one stage colder plug like the NGK BKR7IX.
The general consus is that the NGKs need changing more often than the standard plug

iirc the NGKs are around £6 each on ebay.
