Title: Body parts difference
Post by: GTINovice on April 23, 2013, 12:34:22 pm
Hi
First post...
i needed a couple of bits for my mk5 ed 30 namely front bumper, front side wings and a ns light.
Just wish to know if I can use the same parts from a mk5 gti instead as I'M finding it tough to find any Ed 30 for breaking..
Thanks in advance

The front bumper is different on the ed30, at least the lower part is.

Wings are identical to any other Mk5 golf-a 1.4 base model through to the r32.

Front lights are the same as a normal GTI - you just need to check whether they're standard halogen or expensive xenon lights.

Also - welcome to the forum :happy2:

bumpers are the same mate, just buy a gti bumper and buy the front lower spoiler seperately. otherwise its just a waiting game as complete edition 30 bumpers dont come by often

I believe theres currently a black OEM bumper in the for sale section on here at a good price....

again can confirm all parts are the same bar of course the lower splitter, which can be fitted to a GTi bumper, everthing else is the same and direct fit.

- Welcome :)
