Hi All
Was driving home tonight down the motorway at about 90 when the car started to feel like it was holding back - it only did for a few seconds before losing 30% of its power.
It will no longer rev above 3000 rpm, there are no lights on the dash and I cannot hear the turbo spool or the air hit the blades when I back off the throttle.
I am hoping it is just the intercooler pipe come off or split and not the turbo that has died - any ideas?

Any owl noises? When my turbo imploded i heard it bounce under the car, it had no oil in it and was "wooo"ing its arse off! Check your oil and give the pipes once over

Unplugged the MAF and drove it, most of the power was back. Plugged the MAF back in and all the power is back, looks like it went into limp mode.
I will keep my eye on it and see how it goes.

when mine would'nd rev over 3000rpm it was the EGR valve. I think the MAF was more general loss of power.
