Thinking about getting a remap for my mk5 edition 30. Good or bad idea? Just worrying about problems occurring if I do get it done. Anyone else went for a remap? Thanks

JUST DO IT :driver:
-
Have you done it?
-
DO IT....
You wont regret it.... although your front tyres might. :happy2:

No problems with clutch? I have a manual box
-
Well.... if it slips its gonna cost ~£1000 for a upgraded one.

Iv only had stage 1 bluefin for around 2 months, Best mod iv done to any car for value it's a must in my opinion I now need 2 new tyres quicker but No regrets, already looking towards stage 2+
Ps. I'm DSG

Yeh av seen that and always had mindset bluefin is good for stage 1 and best elsewhere for more, It will give me time to get the hardware lol

Is it only a matter of time before it starts slipping? It's the clutch that is making me have 2nd thoughts

A thousand quid and id be looking elsewhere! I had my Helix Stage 1 race clutch supplied and fitted by Statllers! Yes, still a hefty sum but at least I can enjoy my car to its fullest, and no worries in the back of my mind!! In my own personal experience, and I was at Stage 2 (ko3), it was only after I had the car lowered, Polybushed and 4 new tyres that the clutch started slipping! Something had to give! :-S
