What suspension have we all got looking to replace mine and dont know what to go for.Not really wanting to go to low was thinking maybe lowest 30mm max. What you all think ?? :popcornsoda: :popcornsoda: :popcornsoda:

I'm standard at the mo but in the next month or so I'll be getting eibach sport line springs fitted, you use the same stock shocks and just replace the spring they drop about 30mm which I've been quoted £310 to have fitted supplied and the wheels aligned. If not theres h&r super sport springs which lower the car a tad more but are a little bit more to buy.
Think most just upgrade the springs
-
30mm would be a lowering spring on standard dampers or upgraded dampers and springs. Got H&Rs on mine but going to KW V1s soon

I have had, first, Eibach Sportlines with oem dampers...stance @ 25"

I then had H&R Super Sports with oem and now Bilstein Sport dampers, and the stance was the same except the front was 1/8" lower than the Eibachs were...so, stance was 24.8"-F and 25"-R

I recently took a coil off of the front springs only, and that dropped not only the front, but the back too...stance is now at 23.8"-F and 24.4-R

I have H&R Sport Springs fitted with the OEM shocks. They give a 30mm drop, which is just about right for me.
Check out my thread:

Yeah they all look good does any of them buff or rub though. At the moment mine buffs on hard cornering and some speed bumps (That just seem to be getting bigger)

Mine is likely to be the lowest with springs...no rubbing with 18x8 wheels, 45 offset, and 225/40 tires.

No rubbing on my springs but i havent done the screw arch mod either

I did, for me, a simpler screw mod...I pushed up on the two(one each side) and they bent quite easily

Hi guys.
Do you only do wheel alignment when changing the front suspension or when changing back as well?.
My rear shocks need replacing.
