Is it a bad idea to put a dump valve on my golf mk5 gti
-
Yes.
TFSI likes boost air to be recirculated, hence why has a diverter valve as standard.
You will get more turbo lag and a noise that would p1ss you off after a few weeks
If you really want the "dump" noise, forge sell a spacer that gives the noise whist retaining the recirculation. Proven to lose you power though
Best off selling up and buying a scooby tbh

was just checking if they run better with them obviously not lol stickt o the the exhaust and induction kit :happy2:
-
Does the Forge 007p not give you a slightly more noticeable noise, yet still recirculates the boost?
-
If you want noise, get an induction kit, lots of whoosh dishh for you.
