Title: a few pics after a few hours work

Hi there, gave the Gti a damn good clean after having a back op that meant i couldnt do it for ages, having finally worked out how to post photos i thought i would put a few up, some were earlier and a couple of beading shots in the rain this afternoon (sad i know),

looks nice and clean but why is it you spend hours upon hours polishing & cleaning your car for it to bloody start raining when you finish it :sad1:

Thanks guys, she's doing ok for a 4 year old  :happy2:

It does indeed seem that everytime i clean the car it rains, perhaps i should stop cleaning it!

Got to use my new snow foam lance from autoperfection at the start of this process, was good fun!

but far too small !!! dont know why vw do 17 s on the gti  . but car looks vey clean , i m off to do mine now

Sorry to hear it rained afterwards it does seem to be a rule hours of graft for it to rain the same or next day

That's an impeccable finish.  How long did you spend, and what did you use?

Thanks Mojo,

Spent the best part of a day, went something like this:-

Snow Foam left for 5-10mins - Sprayed off with Jetwash
Wash with Turtlewax nano something shampoo
Dry with Chamoix
All over clay bar with Meguiars smooth surface clay kit
Polish with Autogleam Super Resin Polish
2 Coats of Jetseal 109
2 Coats of Meguiars NXT wax 2.0

I need to get some better wax at some point, probably dodo Juice but havent decided yet,
