Title: vag tacho or vag commander

Ive got a highline cluster to fit but i want the mileage to be correct. What programme is best to use to match the mileage to my original cluster? Ive looked at vag tacho and vag commander but i dont know what to buy because theres so many different versions! Could someone help plz?

what is the part number of your cluster in the car and the cluster you want to fit?

1K0 920 972 is the highline cluster i have got to fit but in not sure whats fitted at the moment its a 55 plate golf gti.

you want Vag commander then, there are plenty on ebay and they are cheap. It will be a gamble if it works ok

You dont know what version i would need to buy do you? Its got like a choice of 3 the 3.6 the 5.1 or  the 5.5?

you need the lead too

it will be gamble so look at the feedback to see which one has the least complaints

Do these actually work then? Or are they likely to kill an instrument panel?

Do you reckon if you got hold of the software a VAGCOM lead will work with it?
