Title: h7r xenons kit?
Post by: ukshaun on April 29, 2013, 12:04:09 am
Hi
I was wondering if anyone is running a set of h7r xenons on there car? Do you get many people flashing you? as if to say they are too bright.

Also are these road legal? i am pritty sure they are not. But i thought it would be worth checking. I have emailed the seller the same question.

cheers in advance

The Mrs has a set of H7R on her Leon, she got 4300K ones and they look pretty OEM, just make sure you set them right after fitting, she has yet to be flashed by anyone!

HIDs in non-projector lenses will always glare no matter what you do. H7rs are the same as H7s simply with some hi-temp paint on the bulb.

Please do not do it, fit some decent halogen bulbs like Phillips or Osram.
