In looking to get a uprated clutch and single mass flywheel for my ed30. Mods so far engine wise are, revo stage 2+, BCS Powervalve system with 100 cell cat, forge CAI, auto tech hpfp internals, rs4 return valve, THS fmic. Also looking to change to an ITG intake.
What do people think of the Helix setup?

Courtesy of r rech, I've had the helix clutch out on my stage 2+ ed30 for 20000 miles.
It's been faultless throughout with no issues in start stop traffic. Still running the dmf on mine as it was in perfect condition.

Helix seems like the way to go, heard a lot of problems with the Sachs
-
I'll be going for the Helix one once my car starts slipping. I've heard a lot of good things about the Helix Clutch, from what I've read it seems an OEM DMF is the one to add to it for road use and SMF works best for track.
-
i would go helix although if you look closely at the small print on the cover plate (or another part i cant remember) it is still made by sachs!
i think vrs alex said though theat helix modify it to their own specifcations but best check with him

I've got the Sachs if you want a feel before you buy ?
It certainly transfers the power well, but its quite a heavy clutch, having never even driven a car with a helix clutch I'd probably go that way, I think that says it all tbh !
Sachs - does the job, but there has got to be better out there

In pretty sure I will be going the helix route. Cheers Bryan.
