Title: New Tornado Red Edition 30 Owner!

Evening All... A few of you may remember me from our old French days but I've finally seen the light and moved across to German engineering.  :happy2:

I picked up my first ever VW on Saturday, a DSG'd Edition 30 in Tornado Red. Previously had an R26.R and a Clio 197 Cup.
 
Anyway, a few pictures of new and old...

Very nice mate!

Love the Golfs, but have to say, i've driven a few Clio cups and I think they're great too!

You can see why I have neither lol.

How wold you compare the Renault too the edition mate?

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I don't have any pics of the Clio on my Flickr right now, I'll get some up tonight if I remember. Just a 197 Cup in White with Recaro's, etc.

The Megane was pretty wild and I loved every minute, it was a fantastic weekend track toy. However, I now need something I can use for every situation and the Edition 30's fitting the bill perfectly. The variety it offers is just what I was looking for and German engineering is such a luxury after owning French hatchbacks for 8 years.

Looks really nice in red mate :) I've recently made the move from vauxhall hatchbacks dont think I could ever look back!
