Title: RNS510 - can you add a sub woofer to this stereo?

As title says, just looking for info and adding a small sub in the back of my MK6 GTI....Thanks

Yes you can. You have to get an adapter that converts the wire from the rear speaker to a phone.  That gives the phono outputs.

And the remote wire ive seen people take from the ciggie lighter on a mk5.  Might be different on a mk6. Power and ground to the amp ad normal.  And I think thats it afaik.

Or you can get a newer amp with high level speaker inputs which also has the effect of being a remote wire too. You just need to make up a harness from the head unit to the amp or cut the existing wiring.
