Post by: Trunkstuff on May 01, 2013, 09:34:40 pm
Hi guys just got an edition 30 looking to get an airfilter / induction kit. Can you guys point me in the direction of the best ones to look at getting?

Cheers :)

Forge Twintake appears to be the one that alot of ED30 owners go for

There is no best air filter imo. Whats ever in your budget range.

I own ITG intake.

All depends on what you want from it, noise and eventual power level. All the main ones are near enough the same i.e Forge, ITG, Revo, etc

I might be selling my Forge Twintake that i have had for about 3 weeks, was going to go to stage 2 but am now thinking about just getting a remap and some coilovers instead.

Top of the range ones are ITG, Volkswagen Racing/APR, REVO

AMD offer one thats similar to the REVO intake now aswell

Neuspeed one is cheap (Ive got this)

Evoms is supposedly the best flowing.

All depends what youre after really open or sealed units.

Evoms have always been regarded as good kits with the likes of Jkm and others running them in there own demo cars

I bought mine on the principal of a good noticable power increase but hardly more audible over the o.e airbox

Some cars i heard with open cones had werid whistley type noises..?

As above sadly though mine never got to be fitted...
