Title: Anyone know how to Removing front bumper

Hi I need to change both my front lights heard its easier to do that if I take front bumper off it's a mk5 tdi has no fog lights so should just bolt and screw off?

Anyone know where all the bolts and screws are just so I know for sure as I could start removing bolts and screws and end up taking wrong ones out :(

Any help would be ace

Try this guide  :happy2: Obviously it's gti bumper but it's basically the same.

I think there are two bolts in the slam panel,three or four in either side wheel arches,a couple underneath and two hidden behind the honeycomb upper grill.
I'm sure that there's a guide somewhere in here.... :happy2:

Cheers looks like I won't need to remove the bumper just the side bits and fit :)

I used the ECS guide when changing mine and it is pretty straight forward, apart from the lower screws that hold the headlights on...they were a biach to remove with the bumper still semi on.

this, and i am not great with cars. actually getting the headlights out is a bit of a wiggle/faff but its certainly not a hard job.
