Techie question for you:
My daughter's got a Raspberry Pi, which only has an HDMI video out. I want to give her an old monitor (so I get to keep the shiny new one), but the old monitor has only got the old-fashioned blue fifteen-pin plug socket on it. :fighting2:
I've found cables like this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/1-5M-HDMI-Male-Converter-Cable/dp/B003X97FLW/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1368033166&sr=1-7&keywords=hdmi+adapter+15+pin (http://www.amazon.co.uk/1-5M-HDMI-Male-Converter-Cable/dp/B003X97FLW/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1368033166&sr=1-7&keywords=hdmi+adapter+15+pin)
The blurb talks of a converter, but I think that's if I'm using a new monitor with an old source. Am I right, or do I need an adapter, and if so, what? Please include a link from Amazon or Maplins - I can't work out what I need!
Thanks in advance.
